Bathroom remodel in Sunshine, Victoria with stone topped wall hung vanity, round backlit mirror, brushed gold tapware, white tiling, frameless shower.

A homeowner in Sunshine had a functional bathroom that felt dated and no longer matched the quality of finishes in the rest of their home. The space worked but lacked brightness and refinement, with outdated fixtures and a layout that felt heavier than necessary. They wanted a transformation that would make the room feel lighter, cleaner, and more elevated while staying within a practical budget. The brief was to maximise the sense of space in the 2.2m x 1.8m footprint, introduce warmth through considered details, and create a bathroom that felt calming to use every day. Quality materials and thoughtful planning needed to do the work that a bigger budget would otherwise have required.

Gidaya Group approached this transformation by working with a lighter, brighter palette and introducing classic details with contemporary execution. We installed a wall hung vanity with a stone benchtop and panelled drawer fronts, paired with a round backlit mirror that softens the space and improves daily lighting. Brushed gold tapware and accessories bring warmth against crisp white tiling, while a frameless shower screen keeps the room feeling open. A recessed shower niche with integrated lighting provides practical storage without breaking the visual line. Floor and wall tiles in a soft neutral tone run continuously, creating calm and making the compact space feel larger than its footprint.

The result is a bathroom that feels brighter, more refined, and easier to live with, delivered within a realistic budget that respects both quality and value. The detail decisions that make a small room feel considered are the same ones we apply at every scale.
